Nova Terra Pax

Nova Terra Pax
New Land of Peace

The first step to the rest of the world is you.
This means that before you can discover the rest of the world, you must first have a strong self awareness.

The representative animal of this society is a bird. Not specifically any kind. This is because the bird is known for flying to an unreachable place high above all. This place is represented by an ideal "view from high overhead", known as a place where more than simply that is seen. From here, one can see through every single being. A place of pure understanding and perfection. This place can only be found by those who soar-those who have peace and are aware of themselves.

Laws
  • Live in peace
  • Respect your beliefs.
  • Respect the beliefs of others
  • Don't say. Do. Demonstrate the understanding you have of yourself and life.
  • Welcome guests.
  • When the mind goes blank, turn off the sound.
  • To every problem, there is a solution.
  • Respect the beauty of nature.
  • Relax.
  • No grudges.
Governing Body
Our government is the government of a free, peaceful land. No one person is in charge. It is ruled by the people. There is no need for law enforcement, or for a ruler, or for prison or punishment. Nova Terra Pax is a home for those who are ready to shed their old, hostile and violent lives, and live a new life of utter peace and tranquility. When a change needs to be made, the people decide what will be an appropriate change to make. Once a change has been agreed upon, it is made. The council of elders, the only living residents of Nova Terra Pax that have lived the terrible lives of old, occasionally get together to make suggestions on how to improve the society, and to discuss anything that might be going wrong in the peaceful system.

Hello Friend!
I am having the greatest of times here in Nova Terra Pax! This is definitely the land of peace! you MUST move here. When I first got here, I was nervous, but the people here seem very respectful and made me feel at home. They're different than I had expected! They make me feel comfortable and help me find anything I need. Everything seems to be right in its place and where it belongs. It's almost as if nothing here gets lost! The land is very beautiful. Trees, grass, flowers, lots of rain and beautiful weather. Everywhere I turn is a perfect picture opportunity. I have already started looking at moving here, and the people have made an offer to build me a house customized to my very likings! This is the land of miracles, of joy. This is the land of peace! You should totally consider moving here. Hope to hear from you again soon!
                                             Your friend,

I just arrived here. I'm excited to meet the people, but nervous about cultural differences. The land here is really pretty! I can tell the people here really care about keeping it looking nice. It looks very much unlike any type of land we have back at home! I noticed when I arrived that there isn't much technology here. Everything seems quiet compared to home! Young children were outside playing with animals. I imagine the older children were in school. They all looked so happy and pleasant! I can't wait to learn more about them!

This place is neat! The people are so caring and polite! Everything feels right here. I don't know what it is, but everything seems perfect here. The people work together in everything they do. They all have jobs to do (such as gardeners, housekeepers, babysitters, teachers, shop keepers, etc.). There is a little store here that everyone goes to and everything is so easy to find! They have a little church that everyone goes to, and I tell you, that church gets filled quick! The people here all have their own beliefs but come together in prayer. The animals here even seem perfect! They're all well trained, very nice, etc. I've learned that the children are home schooled. Some are i groups at close family friends' houses. They often go on field trips. It's really neat!

I'm seriously thinking about living here. The air feels right, it smells good here, the people are nice, prices aren't incredibly scary, and I'm in love with the land. I mentioned this to Mr. Leeander (the man running the hotel I'm staying in. He is close to a construction group.) and he says the team would be willing to build me a house-custom to my likes!! I can't believe it! This has got to be too good to be true. I'm amazed! I even have a job offer to work at the little store I mentioned the other night. This is so exciting! I think I'll write my friends back home and tell them we all need to move out here!

Located at the intersection between peace and tranquility,
right where the garden of eden once existed. A community
of perfect harmony, like the Amish, but you know, cool.

  1. I love how this is a relaxed society. I didn't have a problem understanding most of it yet i would like to ask something. If you have the people decide about what needs to be done for the whole society wouldn't there be some differences? would you then need a leader? I am genuinely curious about. Maybe you can describe what would happen if that scenario would occur.

  2. In such a situation, the people of the community would, of course, have different ideas, but being in such a society all their lives, they are willing to work together and combine ideas and collaborate.

  4. I really like your rule Don't say Do. That is a really good thing to live by. My question is Would your government work with no leaders? Would you really get anything done?

  5. Haha thanks Aricka!:)
Chapin, thanks for the comment on the rule! As for the government, nothing really comes about to cause problems in need of solving since we all live in such peace and harmony. Nothing really needs to get done. But life isn't boring!
